Updated March 26 Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate through this unprecedented time together. Governor Andy Beshear has issued an Executive Order to close all non-life-sustaining business to in-person traffic by Thursday, March 26, 2020 by 8PM to aid in the slow of the spread of COVID-19.
As the safety and well-being of our staff, partners, and guests is our top priority, Spectra, venue management for the Owensboro Convention Center and Owensboro Sportscenter, is following this order in assistance with the City of Owensboro.
We will continue to follow recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local authorities. We will also continue to update our websites and social media channels with up-to-date information for guests and ticket holders, as more events might be impacted.
As community and entertainment venues, we pride ourselves on the ability to offer you dynamic programming for Owensboro/Daviess County and the surrounding tri-state area. We encourage you to still stay engaged with us and follow the Owensboro Convention Center and the Owensboro Sportscenter on Facebook and Twitter. Not only will we be posting event updates, but we’ll try and have some fun with trivia, throwbacks, and some other fun things in the upcoming weeks to hopefully bring a smile to your face.
We would like to take a moment to thank our sponsors and partners for their support during this time. Their support along with yours will help us come out of this stronger than before. We look forward to the time when we can all once again enjoy live events together. We hope that you will continue to be part of these experiences with us.
